ON:iT Recruitment are a tech recruitment company based in Manchester’s thriving business district, Spinningfields. They came to MYC as a startup and have since become an established company in the sector.

Why did ON:iT need MYC?

ON:iT Recruitment approached MYC with a clear vision: to become the go-to brand for tech recruitment in the North West. A new brand, ON:iT wanted to differentiate themselves from the competition. They wanted their personal, switched-on approach to shine through in their content. To do this, they needed an agency that could:

  • Create a distinctive voice for ON:iT
  • Push their message to a wide audience
  • Boost the personal profiles of each ON:iT team member
  • Push ON:iT to the top of the search rankings for recruitment in the North West

Content for a different kind of tech recruiter

We understood exactly what ON:iT were trying to achieve, and we set up a brand workshop to map out success factors, strengths, values, competitors and target audience. This offered true insight into what actually made ON:iT different, as well as what our overall strategy would be.

Pushing on from the workshop, we built a set of brand guidelines that outlined ON:iT’s message and tone of voice. Together, we developed a content plan that included web copy, blogs, emails, brochures, guides and thought leadership articles. The latter involved working closely with each team member to develop their online identity.

Regular visits to the ON:iT office enable us to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, brainstorm ideas for new campaigns (including SEO content in collaboration with Embryo Digital) and capture the atmosphere of their workplace in our content. This is distributed across multiple social media channels to increase exposure and engagement.

Multi-million contracts and increased exposure

ON:iT wanted a long-term marketing partner and they found it in MYC. We continue to work side by side and are always looking ahead for value-adding collaboration opportunities, tweaking our content plan accordingly so that ON:iT can thrive as an organisation.

With the support of MYC, ON:iT now have a strong social media presence and effective marketing material to continuously attract and engage their audience. Our work led to a:

  • Multi-million pound retained contract win
  • 131% increase in page views and 136% increase in new users (organic) to the website
  • 833% increase in the number of impressions on LinkedIn
  • 468% increase in the number of interactions on LinkedIn
