Silven Recruitment

MYC have transformed our marketing

Over the last decade, Silven have established themselves as leading providers of specialist recruitment solutions to the food and drink manufacturing industry. And with our help, their online presence now reflects that. Since 2018, we’ve supported Silven with levelling up all aspects of their marketing, from messaging and copy, to social media and campaigns.

Why did Silven need MYC?

Silven had worked with plenty of agencies, but none of them really ‘got’ what they do, or what they needed to do to drive the business forward. So when their CEO, Ian, was introduced to Kelly, he asked us to put forward our recommendations for refining the brand’s messaging and marketing. Their goal was to establish a strong partnership with an agency that would ultimately enable them to cement their status within the industry, and we’ve been working to that objective ever since!

The entire content package

We kicked things off with a brand workshop and a cup of coffee. The session allowed us to really get under the skin of the business, more so than any other agency, and establish a clear focus for the brand. This paved the way for their refreshed messaging and an ongoing marketing plan.

With a strategy in place, we got to work on developing blogs, case studies and thought leader content – as well as taking over the company’s social media management. We also introduced Silven to an SEO agency that could support their visibility on Google, and an automation agency that could join the dots with their marketing and enable them to gather important data from their website, such as candidate feedback.

Our partnership has gone from strength to strength. What started as ‘business as usual’ marketing support has evolved into a full service. We’ve integrated closer and become an extension of their team. Our most recent projects include producing fresh copy for their new website, writing (and designing!) downloadable product brochures, and creating dedicated campaigns for their 10th anniversary. We even interviewed their senior staff and wrote thought leaders that won them business with Jack & Bry!

Making waves in the social sphere

Silven Recruitment are leading the way in their industry and have since branched out to serve the plant-based sector – a project we’re currently supporting (more on this soon!). Since working with us, they’ve managed to:

  • Gain the largest social media reach in their niche
  • Generate direct leads from organic content
  • 350,000 impressions a year on LinkedIn
  • Average engagement rate of 11% on LinkedIn

We’ll continue to evolve with Silven as their business grows and adapts, and we can’t wait to work with them on some exciting new projects in 2022!
